Appointment Policy

Convenient Hours

We know your time is important, so we offer a variety of appointment times.  Your appointment will be scheduled to allow plenty of time for a thorough examination and for you to ask questions.  While we make a sincere effort to be on time, some cases take longer than others and emergencies can and do occur.  We request your patience when this occurs and offer our sincere apologies.  We can usually provide you with an appointment within 24 hours of the time you call, or sooner if the matter is urgent.  If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.  All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

Drop Off Appointments

While it is always best for you to be in the exam room with your pet during the exam, sometimes that simply isn't possible. So, for your convenience, drop-off' appointments are available. A 'drop off' means you bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a few hours. Usually we will ask you to 'drop off' sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor has finished, he will call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions. Please call us to arrange drop-off appointments!

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Debit Cards, and Cash.  We also accept Care Credit, a third-party billing service which will pay your pet's bill and allow you to pay out the balance over time.  For more information, go to www.carecredit.com. Checks are processed through Telecheck.

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. All animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.
