February is National Pet Dental Health Month.
Did you know that pets can get a toothache leading to painful dental abcesses or cavities? Bacteria from infected teeth can travel through the body and attack organs. Delaying dental cleanings could lead to advanced dental disease and higher treatment costs for heart, lung, liver, and kidney disease!
Make a dental cleaning for your pet a priority this month.
We are offering 10% off all dental cleanings for the month of February!
Please call today to schedule an appointment.

All Pets Are at Risk for Dental Disease,
Including Yours!

Pet periodontal disease is no fun for you or your pet. You may have noticed bad breath, a sign of bacteria attacking your pet's teeth and gums. Untreated dental disease can lead to infection, loss of tissues and bone that support the teeth and other very serious health problems, such as heart, liver, and kidney failure.
Signs of periodontal disease include:
Bad breath, yellow-brown crust on teeth,
bleeding gums, change of chewing or eating habits,
tooth loss, change in behavior, abnormal drooling.
Once your pet displays any of the warning signs below, serious periodontal disease may be present. We can help. Every regular exam in our hopsital includes a thorough dental exam. If we find signs of the diesease, we will recommend a treatment plan. A key part of keeping your pet healthy is home oral care.
For more information, please call our office at 432-1404, and a veterinary technician can give you more information on how to keep your pet healthy.

We believe in twice-a-year exams! Since our pets age much faster than we do, a lot can happen in six months. Call our office for more information. |
